It is very easy to get traffic but not so easy to get targetted traffic.
What is the point of having visitors to your site who are not interested.
Suppose you have a website that sells watches. You need visitors who are actively looking to buy a watch.
Would you rather have one million visitors and sell one watch or one thousand visitors and sell ten watches.

I agree with memetrader, What they are selling you is popunders, and it makes people mad, and you will gain mad visitors that are not targeted, Follow her advise.
