Has anyone had any luck purchasing text links for your blog or website on eBay? like the ones saying 10,000 unique visitors $9.95 buy it now

It’s a scam.

It is very easy to get traffic but not so easy to get targetted traffic.

What is the point of having visitors to your site who are not interested.

Suppose you have a website that sells watches. You need visitors who are actively looking to buy a watch.

Would you rather have one million visitors and sell one watch or one thousand visitors and sell ten watches.

I have one main hosted domain name and then I own about 4 other domain names that all point back to the hosted domain name. When I place backlinks, should they be with the main hosted domain name or the domain names that forward to that site? What is more effective? Does it matter? I am just looking to optimize my rankings for the local area of my business – a chiropractic office. I don’t want to do linkfarms or anything like that. Any advice is appreciated…

I intend to try one way link at this website http://www.onewaylinkexchange.net but they say if i cancel, they will take back the links so that means i have to use their service forever ? and if i stop, my page rank will become 0 again ?

That’s why you don’t use these types of services.

As you said, you cannot cancel because if you do, the links will be gone as well.

Second, Google has been going after sites selling advertising for the benefit of improving a site’s pagerank. You can even report sites selling paid links such as the site you cited, and Google will ban and deliste sites selling links. It is just a matter of time before Google penalizes this site — and once it is penalized, your site can also be penalized.
